Ellen Goldstein was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. She received her MFA in poetry from Emerson College. Her poetry and essays have been published in journals such as Measure, StorySouth, Post Road, The Common, Tahoma Literary Review, Lunch Ticket, and elsewhere. She currently lives in Southern Vermont.
